How Dermal Filler Works
Numbing cream is applied to the areas to be injected forty-five minutes prior to treatment. The treatment areas are then injected with a Hyaluronic acid-based filler with either a needle or a microcannula. At Onyx we have over a dozen filler options. The product choice depends on the treatment area and desired outcome. The procedure takes approximately 60-90 minutes including numbing time.
How Long Do Dermal Fillers Last?
Results from filler can last anywhere from 6 - 12 (or more) months depending on the product used and the area(s) injected. Filler injections also stimulate your own endogenous collagen production which helps aid in the improvement of lines, wrinkles, and volume loss. A consultation prior to treatment is recommended.
