WHAT IS SCULPTRA AESTHETIC?

Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen—the most common protein in the body that is used to form a framework to support cell and tissue—for results that can last more than two years.

Sculptra Aesthetic is made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITS?

As a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator, Sculptra Aesthetic helps restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin to diminish facial wrinkles.
It works with your body within the deep dermis to help revitalize collagen production and help restore your skin's inner structure and volume. As the PLLA microparticles are absorbed, they help stimulate collagen production. Rebuilt collagen strands begin gradually helping to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING MY APPOINTMENT?

A complimentary consultation is required prior to treatment to go over any questions, expectations, and post treatment care. Prior to the appointment, clients are numbed with a topical numbing cream to minimize discomfort. Several injections points are placed throughout the face depending on the level of correction needed. Most clients complain of minimal discomfort. Some bruising, swelling, and post treatment tenderness can occur.

Clients will see immediate but temporary results from fluid revolumization after treatment. This will disappear over a period of about 36-48 hours as the product is absorbed and results will gradually build over weeks to months.

The number of injection appointments needed and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost. On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months.
